Delete Your KetoLens Account

Permanent and irreversible — with a 24-hour grace period to change your mind.
KetoLens lets you permanently delete your account and all associated data directly from the app. This page explains the process and what happens to your data.
How to Delete Your Account
- Open the KetoLens app on your device.
- Navigate to the Settings tab (gear icon).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account".
- Read the warning and tap "Continue".
- Type DELETE to confirm. We'll email you a link so you can cancel within 24 hours.
What Data Is Deleted
When the 24-hour grace period passes (or you confirm via the emailed link), the following is permanently deleted from your device and our servers:
- Your account credentials — email, password, and authentication tokens.
- Food entries — all meal logs, food items, and nutritional data.
- Ketone measurements — all manually entered ketone readings.
- User corrections — any corrections you made to AI food identifications.
- Ketosis Battery data — all calculated scores and history.
- Photos — all your meal, pantry and shared photos are deleted from cloud storage.
- Pantry, saved meals and connections — your pantry items, saved meals and friend connections.
- Local app data — every photo and all data stored on your device is cleared.
This action is permanent
Account deletion cannot be undone. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. If you wish to use KetoLens again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
Data Retention After Deletion
After the grace period ends:
- All personal data is permanently erased from our servers, and your photos are removed from cloud storage.
- Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics (which cannot identify you) may be retained for service improvement purposes.
- We may retain minimal records as required by law — for example, billing/transaction records for tax purposes, and a non-identifying record that the deletion took place.
Alternative: Clear Data Without Deleting Your Account
If you want to remove your data but keep your account, KetoLens also offers a "Clear All Data" option in Settings. This deletes your food entries, ketone measurements, corrections, and history while preserving your account so you can continue using the app.
